The supernatural things that go bump in the night had remained shrouded in darkness until his wife became possessed. It was this particular event that started dear old Bobby hunting. He is still haunted by the fact that he had to kill his wife, but it doesn't stop him from trying to stop other demons and monsters from tearing other families apart. Bobby continued what he had done before he became a hunter, running a salvage yard by day, hunting during his free time, or making free time if the need arose. He turned to an old friend, John Winchester, when he couldn't handle things by himself. Though their friendship was strained for a while, Bobby still considered John family. And John's boys, Dean and Sam, had become like family to him as well. In his hunting history, Bobby has accrued quite a collection of books and resources on most supernatural, and not so supernatural things. He has bookcases of bookson various demonological,religious philosophies and the like. Due to an injury he sustained from a self inflicted injury while possessed by a demon, Bobby is now wheelchair clad, and in as such has sold his salvage yard and moved his belongings to the Harville's Roadhouse. He doesn't like to admit that he needs help doing some simple things, but has reolved himself to the fact that it's probably not the smartest thing to live alone. He has offered to do anything he can around the Roadhouse to help out. Bobby is brutally honest and blunt. He's not one to sugar coat things, he's going to be right straight to the point with anyone. I guess being solitary and having to kill a loved one can do that to a person. He's a very strong individual with strong family based values. He's loyal to those close to him, those that he considers family. And family to Bobby doesn't mean the blood in your veins. Because if he went off of that alone, he wouldn't have any family left. He's very smart, and willing to share the knowledge he has if it's useful. He's not one to throw around trivia to waste time. He knows that you might not always get a second chance to do something, so you need to do your best that you possibly can the first time around. Bobby's a very down to earth kind of man. He lives in the here-and-now, and tries not to dwell on the past. Though he still does feel guilty about what happened to his wife. He's determined to prevent it from happening again to anyone, almost regardless of what happens to him. Bobby's strengths are his loyalty, knowledge of various hunting techniques, and knowledge of weaponry. Bobby stands behind his convictions, and doesn't back down unless he has to. He's also a very loving individual, and trustworthy when it comes to those he considers family. Bobby's biggest weakness is the guilt over his wife's death. Bobby blames himself because he killed her. He believes that if he had the knowledge then that he has now, he would have been able to save her. When it comes to family, Bobby wears his heart on his sleeve, and that makes him vulnerable. His other major weakness is the pit of self loating and pity he's fallen into over the realization that he's not a spring chicken anymore Job: Bookkeeper at the Roadhouse.
